Match the requirement to your UG route
UG’s current full-time Degree page requires credits in all four core subjects and three electives. It gives aggregate limits of 24 for regular admission and 30 for distance education, using the subjects relevant to the discipline. Read the official UG entry requirements.
Select the exact programme and study mode before judging your result. A condition for distance learning should not be treated as the condition for the same subject area in regular study. Keep qualification, programme and mode together in your notes.
Worked example: science and non-science aggregates
Consider English B3, Mathematics C4, Integrated Science B2 and Social Studies C6, with three relevant electives worth 3, 4 and 5 points. Using Integrated Science gives 21. Using Social Studies gives 25.
The correct total follows the discipline’s rule. Both calculations use the same student’s results, yet they answer different programme questions. This is why entering only “my aggregate” without naming the subjects can lead to an incorrect comparison.
Inspect each elective too. A programme may require a named subject or stronger grade even when the overall total is within the general limit.
Read the programme and cut-off table together
UG’s cut-off page includes separate columns for application choices and fee-paying entries, together with subject requirements. Check the applicable column and any explanatory notation. View UG’s official cut-off table.
Record the date you reviewed the table and confirm the relevant admission cycle. A number copied from a social-media image may omit a subject condition or refer to a different route. If the meaning of a symbol is unclear, ask admissions rather than choosing the most favourable interpretation.

Consider a Diploma separately
UG’s distance Diploma route has its own pass and credit requirements and is non-residential. Check that route directly if your Degree profile is unsuitable. Review UG Diploma admissions.
Think about attendance, the learning centre you would use and how the course connects to your long-term plans. Ask about later progression and any minimum classification needed. Keep the Diploma decision separate from an assumption of automatic Degree entry.
