How to Check WASSCE Results and Keep a Useful Copy

Check WASSCE results with the correct candidate details, save a readable copy and separate result enquiries from checker-order problems.

How to check your WASSCE Results Online

A WASSCE result is useful only if you can identify the correct examination sitting, read the record clearly and keep it available for your next application. Before buying anything, check whether you already have an unused, compatible checker in a previous order.

Match the record before opening the checker

Use your registration document to confirm the index number, year and school or private examination category. Preserve leading zeros. A candidate who sat more than one examination should keep each sitting in a separate note; borrowing details from a previous year's result can send you to the wrong record.

Use the official route

Open the WASSCE link from WAEC Ghana's results directory. Follow the current fields on that page rather than an old screenshot. Review the candidate details and voucher credentials before submitting. A successful SellePins payment is a purchase confirmation, not a WAEC result.

Save a copy you can actually use

When the result appears, check the identity and subject details before saving it. In your browser's print preview, make sure the page is not cut off at the right edge. If saving as PDF, reopen the saved file and inspect it. Give it a private, recognisable filename identifying the examination and year without exposing the voucher PIN.

Keep the purchase receipt separately. It helps with a delivery enquiry, while the result helps with an application. On a shared computer, remove local copies after transferring them to storage you control and sign out of any email account you opened.

Send the problem to the right place

If the voucher has not arrived, use Retrieve Order with your SellePins order reference and purchasing phone number. If the official record is missing or disputed, consult your school or WAEC. Do not pay a retailer to change a grade. For admission, check the receiving institution's document requirements; a personal printout may not satisfy a request for formal verification.
