The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results of candidates who sat for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination for School Candidates.
In a press release dated July 29, 2026, WAEC announced that candidates can now access their results online. Schools can also use their official login details to obtain the results of their candidates.
BECE 2026 Results Released. A total of 620,243 candidates participated in the examination, comprising 304,415 males and 315,828 females from 20,789 schools.
The examination was conducted at 2,237 centres across Ghana, while 3,601 registered candidates were absent.
How to check your BECE 2026 results
Candidates need a valid BECE Results Checker containing a serial number and PIN. Follow these steps:

The subject results of 2,722 candidates from 29 schools have also been withheld for further investigation. WAEC expects to make a final decision on these cases by August 31, 2026.

WAEC has warned candidates and parents not to deal with individuals who claim they can upgrade examination results for a fee.
